The opening chords and melodies, while they seem to be in the same key, don't really seem to travel along the same lines as the pickup early on. It's probably a good idea to remix the opening or cut it almost completely out, I think.
Once it does pick up, the music is intense and invigorating. The piano breakdown is a refreshing change of pace and while it does make a nice point to stop and rest, it seems to be a little early to put it where it is, especially considering the opening.
Immediately after the piano segment, the synths there have an awesome sound to them. With the harmonics and drumwork, they're good enough to give me goosebumps. The latter half of this genuinely does sound professionally composed.
The ending is also very nice. It has a good release of tension that maintains the common melodic theme. I would personally consider trying to use a remixed version of the ending to open this track up, because the immediate opening buildup leads into a quiet lull that feels out of place, given the intensity of both the opening buildup and the remainder of the track.
As an additional note, you might want to consider working lyrics into it, somehow. If you can do it right, ho-o-o-o-oly shit.
This particular track has literally tons of potential, and I think, if given the opportunity, time should be taken to perfect this track; it sounds like opportunity knocking, to me. If you work this track up and down thoroughly, I think you'll have an excellent portfolio or even flagship piece for a professional career.
