Clarise is a rebel in every sense. She's rebellious towards her parents, (to an extent,) she's rebellious to social norms, she's even a potty rebel. Clarise is nearly five years old, and she still wears diapers, and loves every minute of it. Her parents tried very hard to train her, but she could never agree to do it, saying she'd much rather pee her diapers than use a dirty potty. Besides, she could never even feel those "needs" her parents talked about. It wasn't until they saw a doctor that her parents relented and let her stay in them, and she couldn't be happier about it.

In actuality, her parents discovered she's permanently incontinent and couldn't be trained, which was why they let her continue wearing them. Not that she seems to mind at all. Clarise doesn't seem to be ashamed about her condition, and even shows pride in her pampers, not even bothering to hide them from others. She remains confident, and is almost never seen crying about it. This has led to her having quite the cool reputation among her peers and younger kids. It certainly garnered interest from Hannah and Hilda when they first met her. Despite her rebellious nature, she isn't cold-hearted, and will stand up for those who can't defend themselves, and has defended Hannah and Hilda every now and then. She often chooses her own clothes, and though they can change, she prefers the more tough-looking attire, and even likes having diapers that match that toughness. Needless to say, she is One Cool Kid!
