I probably could have put a bit more time. It's actually on the short end for most of my drawings this year at only like 3.5 hours. But I got the inspiration to do this while just lying on my own couch and wanted to see how well I could convey someone being sick. As for why a fennec, well, I thought about the fact that the main reason a fennec's ears are so large are for temperature control and I thought it funny to think of people putting ice packs on their ears to help cool them off.


As for the drawing itself, I like how the blanket turned out. Less so for the couch and the ears, but considering how little practice I've had with furniture I thought i did well enough.
