My more recent attempts at art try to lean in a more natural looking pregnancy. This one either leans in the "way overdue" or the "she's carrying the maximum possible limit", which I believe can be up to six or seven. Maybe a mix of both. Obviously this is much older art that got on the really big side.
But given that otters enjoy touch, it would seem this mother to be is liking whatever she's feeling. I suppose that's better than feeling like a squirming watermelon with a time bomb is slowly expanding...
