A victim of Mina's awful abilities, Skyler struggles for freedom while lulling her into a sense of security. When her guard is lowered, Nick strikes, only to be thrown into a trap himself. Through this, Mina makes her true powers known and creates a creature out of her native element. Only after rescuing Nick does Skyler contemplate ways to take the creature down and relieve Mina of her power.

Comments are appreciated. The story's progressing rather smoothly, but I kind of wish I had a guide I could help the reader establish the sizes Skyler is going through. Hope that I was at least able to explain it well enough.
