Born in hell in the year 3 C.E. Alphonse was different from other hellhounds. He was quiet, kind, shy and sensitive. The only thing he did have in common with other hellhounds was his temper, get him angry and it isn't pretty.
Because of his lack of evil he was eventually banished from hell to the mortal world. He was cast from hell into a bakery in London in 1666 and had accidentally caused the great fire of London.
He's spent the centuries traveling the world using his power of illusion to disguise himself as a normal Mastiff. He made friends with some of the most influential people in history like Voltaire, Oscar Wilde, Louis xiv and Mozart.
He is fluent in 19 languages.
