This was in large part me half trying to draw a field of grass around thee characters and attempt a different kind of coloring and shading effect and still ended up mostly going back into the same old, just only for that one layer. I also really attempted to show emotional states but though I think I did passable, it's still really hard to try and go with a mostly natural style and draw emotion on an animal that doesn't really show them as much as we'd know. Probably should have pulled his ears back.


But here's an image of an instructor showing a youngster a demonstration of how to perform magic. And I really did find it amusing for the concept of having the magic be done by his two tails. Overall this took me 6 hours to complete.
