Sometimes it's never easy being a werecreature of any kind especially when you cannot find someone who you can relate to or befriend without them being a pain in the ass or just being not what you expected them to be/uninteresting. That was the case of Nathan's companion Matteo who always seem to just be only interested in snuggles and nothing more, the guy always seemed to think that 'furry' characters were animals that could talk and and that wouldn't do, he didn't have it in his heart to say 'no' to Matteo he just thought he should see other friends and give him a break. Nathan decided to take a break from the constant hugging and napping and decided to let his other side take over for one night, so he used his dark powers to turn himself into his alter-ego the Were-Aykroyd and decided to have himself so fun. He was looking around for the Aykroyd characters he called his gang, when he spotted Vic and also Elwood nearby. But he also spotted Derek Hale...Derek was taking some time off and he was all by his lonesome. 'That guy looks like he needs some company.' 'That ugy is Derek Hale, an alpha.' 'An alpha werewolf you say? I bet we can make him into an Aykroyd, like us.'

"I quite like the sound of this."

"Me too...come on, let's go."

The Aykroyd characters and 'Dan' walked over to Derek and introduced themselves, Derek looked over at them and was amazed at what he saw. 'Hi...i'm Daniel and these are my friends. I just happened to see you over here and couldn't help but wonder if you were lonely.' 'Why yes, I am...a little. I can never find a supernatural being who relates to me in anyway.' 'I know how you feel, I have the exact same feelings as you do. No matter what companions I seem to come across, there are none that match me and I feel that you could be that companion.' 'Me?' he didn't know what to say, he was being offered a chance to befriend these guys and he could easily see himself relating to Daniel/Dan and his gang, especially once Dan told him of his friend 'Nathan' who dealt with problems with a friend who didn't live up to his expectations. Dan also explained he too was a supernatural being, a Were-Aykroyd and he was always looking out for his friend, serving as his protector and whenever Nathan strayed too far from the 'Aykroydian' side, he was always there to bring him back into his arms and the two of them were never far away.

"You seem to be very protective of your friend."

"Oh yes, a good Were-Aykroyd always protects the ones he loves most."

"You seem like a very nice guy...i'd like to join you!"

"You would?"

"Oh yes...I would buti 'm afraid."

'You don't need to be afraid, we can help you.' 'You'd do that for me?' 'Oh yes. We'd make you a Were-Aykroyd and make you feel welcome.' Derek could see that Dan was very protective of his friend and that he cared for him so very much, it was a bond that was destined to last, and he wanted to be part of that group but he was reluctant to find out how it could be done. 'How can I be with you guys?' 'Well it's very simple, we could use our magic, possess you, or turn you via kisses or hypnotize you.' 'You can do that?' 'Why yes, all of us can...' Dan responded as he showed Derek a few of his powers, he performed a few song based spells and performed a song. 'You're talented..' 'Yep...and I know it.' The idea of joining them seemed like a good one and he was eager to try it out. He had heard the legend, it began as an urban legend made up by Canadians to scare tourists but the Were-Aykroyd legend had actually been coming true and more of them had been sighted, he wanted to know more about them and what better way to learn about them then joining them as a new member.

"So what do you say, want to join us?"

"Sure...there's so much I want to learn."

"Well i'll be happy to teach you."

Vic instructed Derek to relax and to look into his eyes, which he did and as he did...he drifted off into a trance-like state and couldn't help but think about how nice and helpful they were, Derek thought that these guys weren't as 'creepy' as they were described as in 'The Monster World News' magazine and he couldn't help but relate to and even appreciate them and as he did, he began to pant in his sleep as he began to dream about becoming one himself...and this dream was one he really wanted to happen. 'Ah yes, just like Nate. He always pants in his sleep when he has transformation dreams like this.' Dan hugged Derek as he dreamed those dreams and when Derek awoke, he eagerly looked up at him and decided. 'Dan, i'd like to be one of you. Show me.' The blonde, blue eyed Aykroyd character purred to himself a little as he reached over to Derek and entranced him further, making him deeply even more fascinated with what was happening, he then gave him a specific set of instructions to which Derek obeyed them and carried them out, and that's when Vic and Dan both transferred their aura into him, which began to take affect right away.

Derek noticed that his skin was starting to clear up a little and also hairs were slowly coating his arms, he was used to being a little on the fuzzy side due to his werewolf attributes but this hair wasn't black like on his head, it was a deep brownish color and the hairs coated his arms while his arms slowly broadened a little, his hands enlarged as the same hairs grew on them, he didn't mind these changes though as he actually enjoyed this. He couldn't help but be fascinated with his transforming appearance, especially once his stomach and chest/torso broadened, making him look a bit like he was on the chunky side as the brown hairs slowly formed on his chest/torso and downward towards his naval area, his skin slowly aged itself up, maturing up to 68 years as his shoulders broadened. He examined his body and couldn't help but feel like this was natural, and this was the body he was meant to have. He reached out for a pocket mirror and upon looking in it he saw his reflection changing to reflect his appearance.

"Look at you now, you're coming along well."

"I am....woah, i'm becoming pretty damn..."

"Sexy? Handsome?"

"Yeah...yes, exactly."

He looked at his legs as they altered in the same way his arms did and he took his boots off just in time to see his feet enlarge with two of the toes on both feet sticking and taking on an appearance of being sort of webbed almost akin to an amphibian, he then felt his rear as it plumped up, giving him a build which was known as a dummy thicc one as his back broadened and he slowly grew in height from his normal height to 6'1, his hair lightened a bit and became wavier but also developed brownish hightlights as his forehead elevated itself and his brow altered, his eyebrows thickened as his eyes widened, one turning from brown to green. He examined his face as it plumped up and his nose broadened, a small cleft popping up in the middle of it as his lips became kissable and his jawline altered, his features themselves slowly shifting to resemble those of the Aykroyds and taking on an Aykroydian appearance, he definitely felt this was his more natural look as he looked exactly like Dan. In addition to this his voice deepened and matured, shifting to match his appearance as he sounded less like himself and more like Dan Aykroyd, as his personality and mind altered...he still remembered he was a werecreature, but not a werewolf, a Were-Aykroyd, he remembered he was a Canadian Were-Aykroyd who had come to the city of Oakendale because he heard of the monsters that lived there and because Dan, the Were-Aykroyd he had met earlier was the resident law-enforcer and paranormal investigator there.

"Ah, there we go...now that's an Aykroyd if I ever saw one."

"Well what else do you expect me to be?"

"Nothing, after all you're fine just the way you are, as a sexy Were-Aykroyd."

"Indeed I am..."

'I told you that i'd teach you my ways and if a lesson is what you want I will teach you all that I know.' 'I knew you'd keep your promise to be my teacher.' 'A good Were-Aykroyd always keeps his promise.' Dan helped Derek adjust to his new form and personality, as well as taught him how to be a Were-Aykroyd and how to embrace it, he also taught him nay things about law enforcement and the paranormal and even taught how to help others in the same way that he had helped him. He also explained to him that he had a job as a therapist and he had recently helped a Were-celebrity who appeared as Robin Williams and he helped Robin with his problems and even befriended and formed a loving relationship with him. Derek felt like he truly understood what the Aykroyds were all about and he was ready to learn about the Aykroyd-verse. 'Follow me, I know just the place we can go to start our lesson.'

"Right behind ya, Dan."

"That's the spirit."

And thus Derek followed Dan and the other Aykroyds to a special nightclub/hangout spot where he was taught about the Aykroyd-verse, where Vic and all the others originated from...they explained to him that they were already who they were to begin with and also explained that it wasn't Nathan who chose to have Aykroyd as his alter-ego/spirit animal but rather it was Aykroyd that chose him and to be his protector, Dan explained that he was always going to be there for the ones he loves and that it's his job to help others and now he was giving that knowledge to Derek as well, and thus with a new Were-Aykroyd was soon making waves around the city and that one was Derek and Derek couldn't wait to show it to some of his friends too. Now what happened to him later, you ask? Derek enjoyed his new role a lot and it wasn't long until a certain Discord server heard of him and wanted to hang out with him, even to be with him, and it wasn't long until he met himself some new followers too.

He was later given a very important job of keeping a special screenplay safe, it was a supposed cursed screenplay that explained the original origin of the Aykroyd-verse and he knew that if J.P Valkenheiser, Wade Motch or Vic Frohmyer got their hands on it they would pretty use it for evil purposes such as finding a way to try and create 'Evil Aykroyds' to be part of their group, being that they were the bad guys of the Aykroyd-verse and all. And thus comes to the lesson of the story, sometimes when things aren't we hoped them to be and we all need a little break, it's good to just let your inner self take over for a while, after all your inner self always knows what it is best for you. And sometimes the people we learn more about than anyone else are ourselves.
