In today's episode, Booksie Blackpaugh and "Nickel" Laprobe must figure out how they're going to get a square meal on the square, in spite of the advice given to them by the dread sword WEAF.
The song they sing is most likely recognizable, thanks to the chorus of it that appears in Chuck Jones' "One Froggy Evening." I've anthropomorphized it, in part because of the setting and in part because of the, ahem, verbiage in the original. Incidentally, "Red Dust" and "I Was a Fugitive From a Chain Gang" were playing at their respective theaters around this time in 1932 -- I checked the listings.
