I think I mentioned this guy to you, Babsie. :)

I had the idea for Light Heart's second in command, this guy, Morning Glory. As you can see, he's got flowers growing out of him on his chest, wings, around his ears, and tail. When he's asleep, all the buds are closed tightly. When he's awake, they're blooming. When he blinks, they all twitch a bit.. and when one gets cut, it bleeds. And for a beast that has flowers growing out of him, he's one hell of a badass. (I ended up ixnaying his sword in this drawing, but you can still see it here.. Arty promised to clean up the final version!)

So I told Arty about the character concept too, and did a couple drawings, and totally didn't expect him to go "WHOA! Can I put him in my comic??" <me> O_O; *SPAZZ* "holyheckSURE!".. So I guess he might be in The Eight too, eventually. :) Wow.

This is the WIP, Arty's fixing up the final version right now. I kinda wanted the eyes to be a bit more pale yellowey glowy, the hair and chestfluff a bit more light jadey, and his copper ankle cuffs and lip piercing to stand out a bit more. Arty's cleaning him up for me. I hate when I end up working the colors way darker than I'd intentioned! I'll just hafta do another version on regular paper.. lesson learned.
