Ryan is Juliana's ex bestie, he basically is a massive Jade Harley simp to the point of having sexual fantasies about wanting to be her, he doesn't like her as a character so much as the fact he is a closet furry who has a thing for half non-human women and Jade just happenned to fill that criterior, after calling out an artist for doing a fanart piece that he deemed to be disgusting or incomprensible due to the fact it solely depicted someone being brainwashed into being Jade, the only reason why he hated it though was because he envied that character in the picture, he wanted to be that person. He felt jealous, but his jealousy had a high price to pay. In order to get him to shut up and to make sure he stays off Homestuck for good, Juliana used her powers to transform herself into a Jade Harley lookalike but as she did so...she gained some weredog attributes and when Ryan attempted to touch her, he ended up getting the same treatment, becoming a weredog and now being stuck as her servant. He had been acting like a bitch all his life, now he is one.
