Our Lulu fell down a trench. What awaited her was a worm! Worms are a pest in the mermaid world. They live in the sediment or in generally dark places. They like to hide and eat. They are ravenous, and between their huge numbers and the ability to eat even the foundations of mermaids' houses, they are the most feared creature in the sea. However, when their numbers are small, it's easy to deal with them. Some have even tried to grow them for public consumption. One of the worst species is the Eunice. They are like other worms when they are young, but they can quickly grow into great monsters for mermaids. They are known to eat all types of piscine mermaids, but they can be dangerous to anyone who is unfortunate enough to encounter one.
