If you venture out past the Inner Asteroid Belt of the Sol system, chances are you'll come within the hungry sights of these frightening predatory bio ships.

Constructed in secret upon the subterranean oceans of Europa hidden cities and mining facilities, the Marauder Class vessels are a clever amalgamation of bio and mechanical engineering. Sponsored by the sentient whales that migrated to the ocean world in the early days of space exploration, these massive 30-49 meter long and 500 tonne vessels posses the machinery. Armament and stealth capabilities to actively prey upon commercial shipping lanes or raid resource depots for supplies.

They were so small, heavily armed and stealthy that military ships could not compete with these elusive predators until the Introduction of the Europa Titan Class Escort ships which were manufactured using techniques learnt from the Marauder Class themselves.

While the vessels will often return to Europa for repairs and retrofitting, it's become apparent that the Marauders are developing there own means of maintaining themselves and quite possible reproducing in the void of space. A horrifying thought for those colonist living out past the Asteroid Belt of the Sol system.


Yes, these are seriously mutated and augmented whales from y shapeshifting universe cyborging themselves to the point they can live in space. Weird thought but fun heh.

Some specs on these ships include:
Sol Population: 500-1000 Confirmed Vessels.
Length: 30-49meter's.
Weight: 500+ tonnes
Propulsion: (3) Slow burn chemical rocket engines.
Power Plant: Unknown, likely Nexus Reality Core.
(1) 5Inch high velocity rail gun with a range well over 50km.
(2) Launcher's for semi organic long range torpedoes armed with plasma explosive charges. Range Well over 100km.
(2) Twin mounted, dual purpose pulse laser batteries. 17km max range.
Known Equipment:
-Stealth paint coating the hull.
-High intensity communication and electrical jammers.


This been a big concept for months now while working in this, been pondering a design for Marauder for ages and decided to try draw something as a base template. Not so happy with the design but it's something I guess, hope you all enjoy!

PS: Oh and the funny thing above the eye was a armour door's to protect a radar or optical system when not in use.... Kinda stupid looking now might remove that from the design.
