Right, so was mostly trying to practice seeing how things looked with using another program for backgrounds. Did the background in about 1 hour in Flowscape and then spent 5 hours on the drawing itself. I probably could still have done a lot more in regards to making shading look a bit more dynamic and visible but I think I did well enough.


As for the courier, I wanted them garbed in a way that would make sense not only in keeping them modest but also ease of putting on. As this is my Vasaena variant for the foxtaur, the portion of the lower torso is left bare because that's how that torso gets air. There are little air slits hiding in the fur that bring the air right to the lungs without going through the upper torso. As for the color scheme I wanted to do something that definitely looked as non-threatening but also as official as possible. Of someone you can see from a distance as being a courier.
