And so, Tony Lupo wraps up this story, relating what happens to many of the characters. Saving himself for last. Well, maybe.

Tony and Agnes will return in another story which I think I'll start later this year.

There seems to be a lot of stuff I missed. I'm taking it to mean that there were some references to Red Network that I haven't read (don't know why probably because it didn't have Winterbough in it).

Actually, the Red Network tag line is how I end these stories. No direct NBC Red Network ref in this story.

Yes, that was just one story. Set at a show on the NBC Red, but also with spy intonations. But I sign off a lot of my story arcs with a Red Network ref.

Hmmm. I'm trying to figure out which story is earlier, chronologically. Ii have the impression that this incident happened a few years -before- the tale recounted in Red Network. Nie?

Red Network is September, 1939. Sharp Words is November-December, 1932. Sirens, as I recall, is some time in 1937.

Red Network did, right at the top, by mentioning the German invasion of Poland. The confrontation at WOOF in Sharp Words is specifically dated to December 1, 1932, and there are references from Tony Lupo to being hired in July of '32, and the main action taking place in November of '32. Sirens, as I recall, takes place after Reggie Buckhorn married Willow and left the Spontoons (which was 1936, as I also recall).

Ah, I'd forgotten that RN mentioned the invasion. Sirens... yeah, what I remembered - establishing chronology but not a specific date.

Right. von der Wald seemingly came to a Meeting of the Minds with the Moushaska at the end of Sirens, and by the time of Red Network, they are (very happily) married.

The evidence so far is ambiguous, but points toward Pyne being Lowfolk.

Probably, but not certainly. He's certainly savvy if he isn't an Elf himself, and he -is- old-fashioned in dress.
