Dan/The Were-Aykroyd serves as sort of a split personality to Nathan/The Scientist only he's basically a very interesting type of transformation, instead of just transforming on full moon nights like typical werecreature lore stories often depict, Nathan becomes him at night in general or if it gets dark...or whenever he dreams or thinks about it, sometimes even when he's not thinking about it, and sometimes Dan comes out whenever he feels like it.
