People tend to be always changing, but if you're transgender like Ren and you haven't quite realized it yet, its' easy for that change to become stunted; for your life to feel like nothing more than a rutt in which you can never be truly comfortable with yourself. Before she transitioned, Ren was rarely happy, and always uncomfortable in her own body and reality, her own identity feeling like a prison from which there was no true escape.
