"I... can't quite remember how I got here or even they why of it.
As the sun rises out along the savanna and the sleep clears itself from my eyes I find myself in a familiar yet surprising location, out in the Gear Savanna with no memory at all why or how I ended up here. As I bolt awake and make sure i'm alone, there is one thing I can remember, it's faint but there and that was leaving for something. Was it a place? An object? I can't tell, the only hints I have to go on is the direction i'm facing and the faint call of something out there. It's recollection is so close but yet every time I try and remember it, it slips away and even trying to remember yesterday, or any day lately is completely blank.
One thing is quickly apparent though,I can't stay here. It's gotten too dangerous out in the open with the goings on lately with other Digimon also losing their memory or going "feral". I hope to harddrive it's not happening to me...
Either way I should get going before the day slips away, towards Factorial town. Though even from here the noxious fumes drive me to avoid it so I should make haste around the place before I start coughing loud enough to wake the deleted. The Swamps beyond should be a safe place to hunker down or at least safer than out in the open like here so I can try and jog my memory."
A project that's been long in planning that i've started to try and break this stagnation i've been feeling with my art and techniques, so we're gonna have a tour 'round the old Digimon World 1 File Island with Gabu-lu! I'm gonna try and stick to the story before the game starts and through to a bit into it with File City being partial rebuilt with a bit of liberty on how that all goes. This should be about 8 or 9 pictures in total with no set upload schedule as this is all for experimentation and seeing just what I can do now as all the parts have been written up so just gotta draw 'em. So hopefully the next ones won't be too far along!
Gabumon, File island, and Digimon belong to Bandi and Toei Animation. Lu the wandering gabumon is mine.
