Some prototype colors for the bird alien species I’m designing.
As of right now (I might change my mind) their main bodies range from black to dark blue to purple, and their wing feathers + chest range from light blue to pale yellow to green. It might vary a bit based on subspecies, tho.
This specific design is most reminiscent of the “prairie falcon” variant (see more here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43018097/). I think this sort is highly adaptable compared to some of the more niche variants, and tends to be pretty common.
