Powering up that cone shaped deflector shield, a Gen2-D accelerates towards hostile warships.

I had a bit of fun coming up with some new armour and weaponry for the Gen2 Bioships, two of the easy weapons you can see are the well Missile being tossed out of the launch bay on the back and the projectile being thrown from from the lower chest plate.

The missile is something rather malicious, it's a nuclear cluster bomb that is designed to either saturate a region of space with nuclear detonations or trap a warship between multiple nuclear detonations thus significantly increasing the destructive yield to larger vessels. They call this 350 Megaton weapon Mjolnir.

(Nukes in space rely upon thermal energy and radiation to destroy targets there is no massive shockwaves just a ball of burning gas)

The projectile blasting off the lower chest plate is actually a decoy launcher, using a rocket to launch the decoy cartridge the projectile moves some 100meters from the ship to then explode in a similar fashion to a cluster bomb to scatter Chaff into space, this Chaff is used to confuse enemy sensors and hopefully lure incoming missiles away from the warship/vessel.

This started out as a simple half hearted sketch at night, then some sketches while at work, then eventually you all got this rather decorated drawing ta-da!
