Taurs are hard. Try going with a species with big paws to balance out the chest (lynx/bobcats) and if you want an equine try Clydesdale because they have hoof floof to balance out the upper portion which is large in most animals. And for the actual taur part I think just a classic human or reptile would work out fine. (transitioning fluffy fur to short and slim fur is harder than scales or skin)
