Williamsburg Trades For Leonard Mack
From the Williamsburg Yorktown Daily:
WILLIAMSBURG - Two basement-dwellers from the 2009-10 season completed a trade, with which Minutemen general manager Sam Gwosdz hopes to improve the club.
The Williamsburg Minutemen, owners of the worst record in the FBA, traded promising shooting guard Lola Richards (cream rabbit) to the Idaho Monuties for center Leonard Mack (fox). With no power forwards on the Minutemen active roster, general manager Samuel Gwosdz intends for Mack to be converted to that position.
“We’re still going after Chuck (Charles Yotechuk, coyote), but we think that Mack can be effective in the role that Coach Roosevelt places him,” Gwosdz said.
“We’ve been very impressed with Lemack’s aggressiveness in Idaho and believe he can make a signficant contribution to the team,” coach Morgan Roosevelt said in a prepared statement.
The trading of Richards created a need at the shooting guard position, and the Minutemen want point guard Dorteo Masalia (black panther) to fill the void. At 6’4”, 177 pounds, Masalia projects well for the position.
Mack was traded to the Mounties last season from the Santa Ana Spectrums and wound up as the backup to Stefan Kikovic at center. Richards was drafted by the Minutemen in the second round of the 2009 FBA Draft and played one season with them.

Actually, Mack was traded to the Mounties last offseason from the Santa Ana Spectrums in a massive 4-team trade. He was stuck behind Donell Macon and Jefferson Adams at that point, and Quintessa Hartnett as well I think. Kikovic was also traded to the Mounties, though midseason from the Mudpuppies.
Also, use LeMack as a Channing Frye type player. He's a big fox with shooting range, and doesn't have that great of power or footspeed to be an inside force, though he will grab some rebounds as well. But being a midwestern fox, shooting from deep is his strength, and can make him a mismatch for PFs and Cs who don't venture from the paint often. ;)
Nice to see this jersey! Hope he has plenty of success in Williamsburg! ^^

A lot of it is assumption, unless there is a hard fact to back it up. Players' backgrounds who have not been talked about? A fair amount can be assumed. Luckily for player trades, there are facts to state what has gone down. ;)
In fact, I think the FBA site needs to have a section that keeps track of all the trades that go on, so we can know what teams some players used to play for.
