The wave of pain goes away for a moment. Feeling faint, Jonas falls over, squinting through pulsing, still human eyes, at his new hands...no, he didn't quite have hands anymore. They were dark and covered in a velvety fur, the long claws scraping against the ceramic flooring. What was happening to him?
