Very vaguely based on a recent dream.
This was mostly a quick but lazy (2-3 hour?) shading practise exercise, with some very casual linework and composition. The "sculpture" was just very quickly made in Blender and rendered with transparency and was added in before doing any of the sketch-work.
Had a little rant too but decided to delete it because this didn't feel like the right piece to talk about it, maybe another time.
