They're taking their time, too~.

Mike is a nice man, and he’ll do anything with his fiancé, but if his fiancé were to suggest almost anything and then also “food” as a different option, the food option is being chosen almost every single time. Can you blame him? He’s large by nature and his metabolism literally burns through calories! Now, just because he goes through food quickly on the inside doesn’t mean he can’t go through it slowly with his chompers. So, on romantic occasions with just the two of them, Mike’s trainer loves to take the loaf to high-end places.

This romantic occasion was Thursday night: The night both Mike and his trainer got off work. Yes indeed, the loaf got a gig at his trainer’s workplace! And Thursday was the laaast day of work for the week there for both of them, so why not celebrate? Rather than come home, these two stopped and got some dinner first while they were still in the city. You can see the payoff of such an excursion in the form of the loving look in Mike’s eyes. The subtle lean forward as he shifted his weight to include himself more in his love’s evening. The open mouth - and thus, a story told or a compliment paid. The hand on the table, all but begging to be held. That loving body language was burned hard into Mike’s trainer’s memory that night.

Just so we’re clear as to what that all is on the table, by the way: Mike, whose orders used to be light in earlier years, knew better this time and ordered twin salisbury sirloins served over asparagus and spinach with a side of garlic potatoes and cheese. His trainer? Much more simple: A gourmet cheeseburger with classic toppings (tomato, lettuce, onion) and truffle aioli. Mmm… makes me hungry for a burger myself. Oh! And if you recognize that outfit…
