I desperately needed to draw something to a) get me going with art again, as I have not drawn anything in over a week and b) cheer myself up. Things are a bit rough right now.
WHAT BETTER THAN TO DRAW A VENOM-SPEWING, HYPNOTIZING, SNAKE-DINOSAUR-THING DEITY? I've been wanting to draw Vertigo for a while now. SHE'S FINE. Primal Rage may not be the best game, or hell, even a good game, but I love it anyway and DAMN does it have cool characters. Vertigo is my favorite by far. I... I must admit I have quite the crush ;w;

I just tried to play it on my old school Sega.... you're right. These controls are terrible.... I've clearly been spoiled on fancy schmancey controls that actually.... well.... work. Damnit.

And aww, well, it can be frustrating because of how you have to pull off combos, but it's pretty fun to play with friends :3 I play it on Midway Arcade Treasures 2, which you can find for pretty darn cheap.
And don't worry, I'm not well-versed in video games at all xD

I played the Genesis version a lot as a kid, and now I just play it on Midway Arcade Treasures 2 for GC |3 I've played the actual arcade game sparingly, mainly because I've only run into a machine for it like, twice.

Vertigo was always the one I played, though I always shifted between her, Talon, and the rexs. X) I'm SO SAD that they never came out with the second guy, I remember the saber tooth figure they came out with for it though. X)))) And I still want to read the book. :O (still wish I could remember the combo used to eat the worshippers >M<)

Awesome! Love the colors! And I always thought I was like the only person on the planet to play Primal Rage. I played it for hours in the arcade. My favorite character was the raptor. I forget his name. And this was before Jurassic Park came out and forever popularized raptors. Vertigo was my other favorite. I got frustrated with her though because all her good moves were too tricky for me to execute.
I'd never heard of this game before, so i looked it up on youtube. I can see why you like it. i've always loved fighting games like this. I never could memorize the button sequences for the special moves, but i enjoyed them nonetheless. I'd like to see a more modern remake of this game. Updated graphics and all. Vertigo would be one sexy beast then. x3

Primal Rage wasn't bad for what it was. That's like saying the original Mortal Kombat is a terrible game or something like that. They did have some sweet figurines though ^w^
