Savage and Jaguaress sketch

Savage and his first human girlfriend, Jaguaress the vigilante. Doodled as a size comparison pic.

The original of this is 2" long, and I only had a few minutes to touch it up tonight. I may come back to it this weekend and at least clean the darn thing up.

The "was" has me a little worried about Savage's feelings. I hadn't even realized the two had reunited after the origin story. I should go back through your gallery again so try and find other Savage stories and pics I may have missed.

Jaguaress was mentioned in the very first Savage story, and you are right to be worried.

She was killed by a supervillain called The Professor, who was the same guy who made Savage years before. Savage eventually ate him.

Savage was designed to be roughly twice as long and high as a Siberian tiger, though the weight doesn't work out right. Eventually I ended up making him a big taller than was reasonable too.

I designed it after being able to get an average set of human hips through the back of the jaws and into the throat. :9

Coincidentally, that's why Hialfi is the size he is. 89. Savage can unhinge his jaws though, so his size was chosen for the "impressively large" factor rather than the "I bet a man would fit down his throat" one.

Hmm. I have an anthropomorphic coyote girl character who's 21' high, and I remember less scientifically working out that she should be *just* big enough to swallow an average human whole. It's interesting to see that number come up again in a similar context. :)

I figured you might. That's one reason I drew it. Savage can change his stripe pattern at will, so you can made it whatever you like.

Savage's tail is 7' long, by the way. Nose to rum 14', tail 7'.

Savage is rumored to have been "friends" with an unspecified number of female vigilantes and even a normal woman or two, but the only one people are sure about is Jaguaress. She was raped and killed by a supe-villain sometime between 'The beginning' and 'Savage'. Thus his intense dislike for rapists.

Aw, I was hoping the tiger would be female. It seems like all your feral preds are male, we female feral pred lovers need some lovin' too.

That is a fair point. Now that I think about, all my female preds are either humanoid or half-humanoid. It probably stems from my love of four legged males on top of humanoid females, I will have to think what I can do along the lines of feral female preds.

I prefer mammal preds, and I am trying to think which nonmorphic female 'ferals' I have. I suppose the female 'fourlegs' among the sabertooths, Fang from the Run...not too many female ferals unless you count Bruxa, who is Miateshcha's character.

I'm guessing he doesn't do much chewing at his size? I wouldn't stuff him, though. Would probably just give him a bunch of metal toy cars and electronics for the sounds they'd make in there :3

While he is fully equipped to tear apart fleshy creatures and strong enough to dismantle mechanical things, he usually swallows pretty while just to avoid making a mess. People are a lot more cool about him eating feral dogs when said dogs just disappear.

That makes sense. I always liked the idea of random objects just for the unique sound they would probably make getting pumped down his throat when he swallows. Not to mention the sounds of it actually getting processed in Savage’s stomach~

There were some weird autocorrects in that last post, heh. I meant to say "prey whole". You probably know that Savage has a were-rat friend who is a vorarephile. He eats Ratbat about once a week. More if he needs extra calories to recover from an injury. 83
