Just a simple image of a concept I had some time ago - a nidoran, thought to be a shiny male at birth, only to later realize she is transgender and evolve appropriately into a Nidorina! Funny how these things work out.

Trivia: her colour palette is that of a shiny Nidorino, although she is 100% a Nidorina (despite the horn and spikes). Most of the nido family mimics the colour patterns of the opposite sex with their shinies, with the bizarre outlier of the puke-green Shiny Nidoqueen.
