Chuong: Catullus 16 was from the Roman Empire days, meaning it was way before Christianity was even mentioned in Europe.
Juno: Very different culture back then compared to Italy today. Even more interesting is that homosexuality in the Roman Empire wasn't outlawed until Theodosius II came into power, which is about a century after Constantine the Great rose into power of the Roman Empire.
Jack: I had no idea such a classy language would use profanity in poetry like that back then. Who knew Italy has a very interesting piece of history that gave us more insight to what life in the Roman Empire was back then. Sounds like Catullus was an interesting person.
Chuong: Remember, this was way before Leonardo's time period, when the Catholic Church basically ruled over Italy.

Leonardo: And for that reason, I am grateful I wasn't born then. I think I'd have been throwing a fit over the profanity.
Super C: Do you have problems with people swearing today?
Leonardo: Not really; the CNG crisis has made it to where Leo and all the parallels, myself included, have it going for us where the world obeys what we say. Period.
