This poem is called lost in the music, I wrote this back when I was 17. Enjoy:

Lost the music

Before I was lost in my music

Now I have lost my music

In the beginning the music was there

We both where singing

We where rocking together

The love we made was the music I was jamming too

You where jamming along too

After are first concert the volume was lowered

The beat kept losing its volume

Like a broken record

I assume that’s how you feel

Trapped in a repetitive motion

Playing that same jam

You seem to have drifted away from it

It must have not been your style anymore

The volume was on its last point

Then like a vintage song

You came back to me as loud as ever

In love with me and our jam

The music turned full blast for about as long as a three minute one hit wonder

Yeah it was a wonder because before you went off to travel

I wonder if you remember our sound

Because before you left it seemed like you didn’t and lost our tune

I hear you are back

Why have you not talk to me

Have you lost our tune

I remember the promise after our last kiss

Our tune will not go away

Was that the kiss talking or was it you

You told me you wanted our tune to go on forever

Did you lie to keep the beat with another fellow

Or are you being very mellow

Let’s share the beat on last time

Let’s share it for ever

You’re the one I want to share it with

Because baby right now the music seems like

It’s on a low key volume

Yet it feels so loud so I want to dance with you
