Hopefully there's an arch reactor lying around to throw at Hjordi's face.

Hjordis is "just" a quadruple amputee old lady who thinks she is a paladin of justice and has devoted the last 60 years to finding and killing a murderer that hops through dimensions while she has to go through it the hard way by changing the past into the new dimension.

The two who originally were very much of similar age have now diverged significantly as while Viatrix just hops into a new dimension and finds herself surrounded by and hunted by several Hjordis time-clones who try and find her before she can hop again... Hjordis spends a lot of personal time correcting the course of history into the new alternate reality and then hopping into a not-perfect time and location to find Viatrix once again.

So what for Viatrix has been an extenuating few months where she can barely sleep...

for Hjordis has been 60 years of hunting where her prey constantly escapes her and even though she has time travel and can "re-try" she does not end exactly when and where she wants so she has to travel time and time again until she gives up and tries to check if in the next reality things will be easier.

Sounds like this will make a mess out of several dimensions, if not universes. All those tears through space...?
This must've attracted the attention of some higher being by now. Or at least, at some point.

There are no higher beings.

And those two are the only ones who do this.

As far as they know.

This chapter, of course.

Is going to prove both of them wrong.

And steer this story in a new direction.

But it has nothing to do with more conflict.

If anything it has to do with reparations.
