On birdsite 
TKDye tossed out an interesting challenge, to draw a giant Kevin J Dog. And this was just the sort of challenge I needed to occupy my mind. So here Kevin is, very large and shockingly undressed!
The city intersection is loosely based on one in East Lansing, near the used book store and Pinball Pete's. There's a couple jokes in the storefronts and signs and such but don't worry, none of them refers to anything more recent than 1947.

I am so glad that you like this, and am also very glad for this challenge. I'd needed something to engage me and this was really good.
Also, yes, the storefronts ... particularly, 'Peanuts To You' is the idea which made me realize I had a picture.
(There is an actual roasted-peanuts shop but it's in downtown Lansing, not East Lansing. Also it's called The Peanut Shop. Former Planters franchise.)
