Lovianne wanted to get more practice into creating living and sentient suits before her next big project and decided to make one of her father favourite creatures and give it to him for testing.
The goal was for the suit to get knowledge from its wearer and create a new personality which was a mix of the wearer's and the naturally feral mind the creature depicted by the suit would have. This new mind would supplant the wearer's while making it think it was him/her, making them keep the knowledge and experience gain while wearing the suits once they took it off...
She might have forgotten to take into account the likeness the wearer could have for the new form as it took her multiple days to track down the fusion of her father and her creation to force him to take it off...
