Evalia continues wandering into various other worlds to get more perspective on the nature of the multiverse, and winds up running into the last person she thought she would.

I had to take some time to write this one, because I broke my own rule. Macrotis was a person I used to run into time and again in the Giant's Club, and we were friendly but never quite close. While I was writing this, Naya's player reminded me about them, and added they were both friends together. I'm not going to avoid the character while still being as true as I can to how things happened. It wouldn't be fair. And it certainly felt wrong since that person is no longer with us.

I had the scene with the Goddess in my notes for a long time, because there is a lot of cheating in how Evalia exists and what's "canon" for her or not. I've always operated under the assumptions everything has happened with some continuity - as long as other people want to play into that continuity. So there are multiple versions of her out there, and at least once she's behaved as a divine entity. But in those cases, it's been less a case of ego and more a case of doing things for others - usually uplifting them for a time.

(It may also be there just to tease a few readers who want to picture her that way.)
