So my sister and I went to an event where people were making care packages for refugees. Everyone was to write a letter but I didn’t know what to say I mean what could I possibly say to make things better or comfort these people, so I decided I would draw something. I looked through my phone and came across my photo of a lake in the mountains of Colorado near Durango where I had gone on a high adventure trip and I thought it was nice enough to replicate.

Unfortunately I was short on time and had only pens so I recruited my sister to help me draw the picture and we were able to get it finished fairly quickly. I hope it has brought at least a slight bit of comfort to those who have lost so much.
