Hope For The Underrated Youth ~
I was watching an interview with Yungblud while talking to Beccachu, just messaging back and forth one morning. ~
This stood out in the interview : ''To be weird, is the best thing you can fucking be. So lets be weird together.'' ~
I opened up to Beccachu if it weren't for her introducing me to his music, this free way of life and no longer sitting in my room like a corpse - I felt free.
She was one of the first I came out to IRL/to those nearby as Transgender, Pansexual and Polyamorous. The last one was a huge step as usually i'm scared to admit that.
Being Polyamorous, my partner Tumaini is too...so yeah...its been talked about and I finally admitted it to myself thats how I felt. (Still love my bf with all my heart, he'll always be my Tigerbutt.)
Most people back away as soon as things come out, but Beccachu supported me. I even came out in stream not long ago in the past month.
I feel confidence and self esteem come and go in waves, which is more than its ever been in the past. Usually I have 0 confidence and i'm super scared of talking to a group.
Beccachu introduced me to Discord, the concept of group chat and even helped me play Dead By Daylight where I was so nervous, but she made it fun for me to feel open vocally online.
It sounds dumb right? The little things in life have really helped me, then the big steps...and getting better with each day and mentally i'm still very unwell, but I have great friends. <3
I got sent a gif from part of 'Hope For The Underrated Youth' on Whatsapp and I was super inspired to redraw the scene where Dom and his girlfriend are walking through a empty field. (Before chilling and then being chased by bad guys - regardless. lol.) When I doodled this, it just felt like we were off on another adventure. ~
