Some people are loathe to forgive and forget -- particularly betrayal. I'm one or them.

Have you considered keeping 'canned' backgrounds? Oh, that's right -- multiple layers don't work very well for your system.

I think this page has about eight or nine layers. As for 'canned' backgrounds, I think I shift the viewpoint too much in my comics (still end up with a lot of talking heads though). But yeah...I need a new phone...
