10,000 Black Hearts ~
The YUNGLBUD gig was fuckin' amazing! I just am so blessed to have shared that experience with Beccachu, my Terror Twin, best friend and partner-in-crime. ~
I was very nervous, I won't lie, I was very scared of being around so many people - but she helped me calm down when I got a bit frightened. I can't thank her enough. ~
We had seating due to our chronic pain/fibromyalgia, but it didn't dampen our time at all.
YUNGBLUD had an amazing performance, it was INSANE. Poor lad got VERY upset/emotional when he had 10,000 of us singing 'Love Song' back at him. He was fairly upset before trying to get his words out, but man, he literally lost it and bawled. Which in turn made Beccachu cry - which almost made me lose it - so I made sure to give her a cuddle. <3
There were so many moments in that gig I can recall with such fondness, a lot of things were said onstage and it made me/us feel like we weren't such outcasts. Personally, the intro to 'Mars' choked me up. I've been feeling very insecure, invalid and tbh I felt like I didn't belong anywhere - but being there with Beccachu and knowing the BHC were a huge family/community, I wasn't so alone. I'm not alone. I just felt that night that I had the energy to fight for who I am and those I love again. ~
We enjoyed the gig, everything about it was amazing. Even after we met so many friendly faces, had good chats and I even felt confident, which was very new to me. The taxi situation was a bit iffy, as booking went wrong a few times lol, so I let out a bit of a 'roar' / metal growl and got a compliment from a lady behind me. Haha. <3 We sung silly songs to pass the time, did a lot of funny voices to be silly shits and entertain those around us. It felt good, very good. <3
I will say there were a few people who tried to push through, walk through us but I kept people at a distance. As Beccachu is on crutches, I made sure she had space even if I got bumped into and called 'slow' by some people. But I guess you get a few bad eggs at these things. 99% of everyone else were lovely. <3
I'm so lucky to have my best friend go on adventures together with me, and end of the month we have another trip into London! :D
Hotel is booked, gonna meet up with Wednesday 13 Fans / Necrofam in Camden and explore the market. <3
