Decided to come back and redesign Chroma’s ship. Still has a damascus steel pattern and is otherwise very reflective like chrome, but now it’s got a whole new shape to it.
The engines are under the wings, which have some range of motion at their crook. The main pod is dedicated to living space/etc.
As for the actual design notes: I wanted some combination of organic as well as nonthreatening. I kept bouncing between it being more bird-like or more manta-like, and settled on bird (big surprise).
