It's the anniversary of Walt Kelly's Pogo debuting in the newspaper, so, here's a picture. Loosely based on one of his 'We have met the enemy and he is us' strips, The fish is original to me, but again, I've seen Walt Kelly draw fish before and he's done some where fish mistook his tail for bait. The background is that silhouetted-tree trick I've picked up and used whenever I feel there's too much white space for the characters to float in.
