Delicious, with a hint of devilish.
Mike’s a trickster. Has been for a while. Two posts ago, we got a glimpse into how he handles rainy days, but what about sunny days? If it’s an especially good afternoon, he and his trainer might hop into the downtown area and have a relaxing time, halfheartedly window shopping and chuckling about contextless things they hear the cityfolk say. And if it’s particularly hot, sometimes a little ice cream comes into play to help the human beat the heat. Not everyone can be a giant fire badger accustomed to it, you know?
Mike eats his ice cream faster than most others on account of the heat he gives off, so when he got outside, he took a seat on a bench just outside the establishment and went for a fat half-bite, half-lick. A shame the lighting was perfect for a photo, because Mike was halted and told to pose. Not wanting to appear in his trainer’s group chat, Mike was extra bothered from wanting to eat before things melted. And then it struck him: The perfect way to ensure this wasn’t put online. Peace sign and his cone held high, his toes lifted up from his sandal just enough to make it suspicious while going unnoticed by his trainer. And look at that face. That look off and away with a cheeky smile? What a dorky little goblin.
Photo taken and ice cream eaten, he finally mentioned his plot. Don’t worry, it wasn’t too late. And indeed, the pic never went online. Gotta give the loaf props for a successful plan! And if anyone’s curious, Mike got a vanilla-caramel swirl with extra caramel on top and some chopped nuts sprinkled in. His trainer got… just vanilla. In a cup. Wow, what a boring little man. No toppings? Next time, if he’s beating the heat, he should beat it in style!
He should probably also tell Mike to wear, like, actual shoes too.
