“I wonder what you shall become. Perhaps something mighty or perhaps even a legendary, oh what a sight that would be to watch. Honestly, there’s no real point in you resisting. If you do somehow shrug it off, I just use my toy on you again and eventually a name will slip out.”

I’m not paying all that much attention to her at the moment, though. Instead I’m trying with all my heart to try and keep whatever is trying to control my mouth at bay. I’ve fallen back to my knees and am shaking my head back and forth, trying to deny the impulse to try and speak at this point. I don’t even want to open my mouth under the fear that even that small gap would let it out. Even as I resist I can already feel my mouth beginning to form the shape of a sound. And what’s worse is that my body has become so focused on trying to say whatever it is it wants to say that I can’t even breathe in anymore. And not only do I have to fight the intense urge to speak, but my chest is starting to burn with the need for air. I squint my eyes and pray for the strength to beat it off and only notice too late when I feel an intense jubilation as my hands fall from my mouth to catch myself as I fall forward, letting my mouth open and a single word spill out.

“Vulpix!”
