So for the past few months I'd been searching for the best base recipe to modify for a loaded mac n cheese, and then spent another couple months trying to get the right measurement of nutmeg that would be noticeable but not dangerous amounts since nutmeg is absolute hell to overdose on. In the comic, the main character has a neighbor that likes to cook and share food, named Rosaline. In one chapter, she presents the main character with her special loaded nutmeg mac n cheese, and I always have a journal entry at the end of each chapter about something that occured in the story, so for this chapter (Chapter 10) I decided the recipe would be the best thing to make a journal entry about.

Nutmeg in mac n cheese was introduced to me at a bowling alley, it was spicy in both senses of the word and super delicious and since then I almost always sprinkle nutmeg on mac n cheese when I have it.
