I’ve always had a fascination for anything Egyptian and the gods where just the icing on the cake. Anubis is one of my favorites and any chance I get to draw him I’m all over it. This design is also available on a black T-shirt found on my website.

this is incredible, the detail is amazing......
my favourite god is bast although strictly speaking i'm not really into religion. i know they were a civilisation, but the fact they worshipped gods makes them more a religion to me.

Great, great stuff. The use of shadowing and color, the elegance of both character and design reminds me a bit of Edmund Dulac - which, as far as I'm concerned, is certainly not the worst reference one can take.
Definitely a God I don't know if I really should bow to, as at the same time I'd have to take my eyes of him. *grins*

The egyptian deity Anubis, which is associated with the dead, and in roleplaying games associated with the undead Jackal Gaurdian, is highly respected by those who are in the field of mummification. If I remember right there are many stories that revolve around Anubis and mummification.

Thats just fantastic-looking with all the details, the cloth and actually a little godlike sexyness.

Had a shirt I bought during my first time at anthro con at the adams mark, I loved it. Few years/cons later it was stolen during another trip to the con out of my luggage by a person close to our group who snuck into our room. He never admitted it, but it sort of broke the entire thing apart as everyone knew it but didn't want to get him into legal trouble. Anyways, love your work, would love to meet you again one of these days if I ever goto a con again.
