Saw a squirrel in the yard peeking out, almost sideways, behind a tree, with an acorn in their mouth, looking as though they were checking to see if they were being followed. I loved the pose and wanted to get something of that look across. In drawing I dropped the acorn because it was hard enough to get this about right and I think I'm going to have to spend an afternoon photographing squirrels in the hope of seeing one in about the same pose, since I couldn't get it right again.
