The resevoir known as Vallecito (VA_YE_SI_TOH, Little Valley in Spanish). It rests approximately 45 minutes east of Durango, Colorado. The waters of this resevoir flow down into the Navajo resevoir and eventually into the Colorado River. It is just a small part of part of a much larger water project that's been ongoing since 1956.
As some of you may know, I enjoy the sunrise. When the opportunity presents itself, I go out and get it! This time, I took advantage of my bodies clock and woke up early enough to hike down from my cabin to the lakeshore (resevoir shoire? idk) and capture this beautiful photo.
This photo, and all newer photos, are taken on my Newest camera: a Canon EOS Rebel T8i. So far, the results have been astonishing, and I hope to take many more photos in the years to come.
