Because of me recovering in the last three days, I wandered if I still had the touch to do some new project. Yes, I still have it. My newest project, composed of 5 drawings, starting with this one, showcasing my pokemon teams throughout the years. I played pokemon since gen 4 (my first ever pokemon game was SoulSilver), but I really started building my teams consciously, naming each member and having a little lore for them, just from gen 6. So here's my first ever well built team of pokemon from my Pokemon X gameplay: Nitsuke, an old naive Delphox, Ariel, an unlucky timid Azumarill, Lancelot, a mysterious quiet Aegislash, Wyvern, an eccentric gentle Aerodactyl (Mega), Aaron, a brawny hasty Lucario (Mega), and Numera, a royal timid Goodra.

The setting for this party is kinda dark and gruesome (oh my) so you can skip this paragraph if you don't want to read this.
Thinking of a little setting for this party, a world where a specific race has been hunted to extinction or heavily persecuted should do the trick. Numera is the princess of a city-state of that race, running away with her personal guard Lancelot of dubious origin or race. Numera has changed her appearance to better hide herself while Lancelot wears little armor, but his whole body is practically steel. Aaron is a mercenary determined to get rid of all the members of that hunted race. Reasons? Revenge. He met Nitsuke, an old sun priest, a while back, and he's taking lessons from the old man to calm his explosive thoughts. Around the land, wicked circuses periodically sprout from the ground, showcasing acts of cruelty for fun on all the slaves they have. This is how Wyvern met Ariel. Ariel was a slave, a precious slave. Everyone in the circus loved her, and her attraction. People were to purchase potions with random effects and then throw them against her to see what would happen. Wyvern was a rich sorcerer that recently got exiled by every city on the land because of his under-hand tricks. With a fortune in his pockets, he started spending it on brothels and circuses without ever feeling better. Then she found Ariel, and impulsively spent all his remaining fortune to buy her. Now all the members find themselves at a crossroad and hear a cry for help from the forest nearby, they all collectively rush in. Roll initiative.

I like them so much ngl. These are also my first ever published male characters! Rejoice~ I especially like how Wyvern turned out, as I had no idea what to make of him when I started drawing and in the end he was so good. I also like how Nitsuke is not your everyday magician Delphox, but based on a shinto priest. I also like to think that Numera is a bard, but doesn't have any of the common characteristics of bards.
