Rei-Li & Li-Mei are secondary protagonists featured in Project: Anphernos. A stern elder sister tempered and balanced by her peppy and outgoing younger sibling. Rei-Li & Li-Mei serve as members of an elite police force that serves the ancient and powerful Far Eastern Empire of Houloun. They come from a family synonymous with law and order within greater Asia, as their bloodline has served the Emperor for generations. Along with their impressive pedigree comes a genetically inherited ability, Weighted Justice which in both girls gives them the ability to alter the direction and intensity of gravity within a set range. Rei-Li's potency and intensity of the ability is unrivaled, granting her the power to drag automotive vehicles, heavy construction equipment, and even metal statues in any direction she wishes in a matter of seconds. Li-Mei lacks her elder sister's power, but makes up for it in her speed and precision, being capable of shifting the direction of gravity around objects hundreds of times a second to simulate levitation. Because of this feat it is rare to ever see Li-Mei walk anywhere as she prefers to utilize her ability to float lazily from place to place as gracefully as a butterfly.
