Unfortunately with our technology that's just not true. I wish we lived in a world where changing your biological sex was perfect painless and reversible, but in our world none of those are true. I worry that treating gender dysphoria through transition is just putting trans people on a treadmill where the goal of being a "real boy/girl" is tantalizingly close but never actually in reach. I wish I knew what a better treatment there could be though. I don't suppose just living with the pain of hating your body is much better.
