WHEW!!! this piece has been months in the making (primarily because i've been ill and exhausted, especially for the last month-ish) but it's!!! finally done, and ion's happy with it.

thank you so much, ion, for trusting me with such a big piece, and for trusting me to try and do justice to the background. it took a few iterations of that background, but i'm happy i could end up with something more along your vision, that you were happy with. this has been such a fun challenge for me, seeing as this is the most detailed background i've had to date!! especially to do with a digitally painted piece, since those are few and far between. so it was a fun challenge and fun practice for me to try something new!!

i enjoyed working with zephyr, ion, and flint again, too. they're always a delight to paint/draw and i'm glad i got a chance to again! and i'd like to think i've at least somewhat improved since the last time i digitally painted them, pretty much a year ago tomorrow: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/39125193/ - so it's been nice seeing how things have changed since then!
